Here are just a few of the planned events for the November 2010 Scrapbook Retreat / Cricut Swarm.
Free Cricut Classes!
Sandy Lombardi of ‘cricutgreenwithenvi’ will be teaching and sharing all of her wonderful Cricut knowledge! Besides teaching you lots of awesome stuff, she will also supply you with the materials you need to complete the projects! (except photos) She will also be demonstrating the new Cricut CAKE! Everyone will get to check that out! It is sooo neat! (because you can eat it!) She is also an official Demo Cricut Queen for Provocraft’s Cricut Army, so you know she knows what she is doing! Bring your Cricuts & Gypsys & Design Studios and she will help you become an expert too! We have Cricuts & Gypsys for you to try if you don’t have one and would like to check it out. BTW, Sandy has every single Cartridge ever made! (and she is nice enough to let us preview and use them at no extra charge)
Print your pictures for free on top of the line Canons!!!
Gina Lideros will be available on Friday & Saturday with her awesome Canon Printers, (she is a Canon Rep), so that you can print all of your pictures!!! She has printers that print 4X6 all the way up to 13X19. Her services are completely free and she supplies all the ink and paper too. Gina is not pushing any type of sales, she goes to scrapbooking events for demonstration purposes only. Everyone that wants to print their pictures needs to bring their pictures on a: SD card, mini SD card, micro SD card, Compact Flash card, USB flash drive, or a camera with a USB cord. She will also have Canon camera's on hand to take pictures of cropper's with their friends. It looks like we will also be having a small giveaway, for a digital 3X3 album.
Secret Scrapper Gift Exchange.
Each person who wants to participate brings a scrap related gift limited to $10.00 value. We will then draw numbers and do a gift exchange. It will be fun and interesting to see what you all come up with. Participation is purely optional.
Ice Cream Sundae Float Nites!
On Friday and Saturday nights, we will have sundaes and floats, you can make your own any way you like. It will be a sweet treat that will energize you and keep you going well into the night so that you can get even more scrapping done.
Friday Prizes!
I have been shopping for months to find just the right kinds of goodies to put in the goodie bin. Your name will be drawn from a bag and you will get the chance to pick whatever goodie you desire out of the bin. There are so many different things, the lid won’t close! (Ha! there is way too much for a bin anymore. it is ridonculous, you guys gotta help take some of these goodies off of my hands.)
Saturday Nite Drawing!
On Saturday nite, there will be a drawing for a $100.00 gift certificate towards your next retreat. Everyone has an equal chance of winning, you just have to be there is all. There will also be a drawing for a an awesome Gypsy (donated by Sandy), a brand new Cricut cartridge and a Michael’s gift certificate, so go ahead and try to bribe me if you like! (just kidding)
Make N Takes!
I will be teaching some how tos, interactive pages, explosion books and how to repurpose that altoid tin into something totally cool!
I will supply water, diet coke, dr. pepper and some snacks but please feel free to bring anything you might want to munch on or share. I am going to try and be healthier this time but last I checked, chocolate is healthy. There are meals supplied but I am never hungry because I tend to snack on munchies all day.
And of course there are really neat goodie bags waiting for you! (I am almost jealous of those Goodie Bags!)
Swap!
There is a swap table as well so bring all of your stuff that you want to get rid of and you might be able to find something you need!
Meals are Brunch & Dinner on Friday, Brunch & Dinner on Saturday and Brunch on Sunday, menu is TBA.
And last but not least, Free Wireless Internet for all!!!!
